BEEF FRY TATERS

BEEF FRY TATERS

BEEF FRY TATERS

Ingredients:

1-6oz package A&H Beef Fry (strips cut in 4 pieces)
1/2 bag Tater tots®, thawed
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp salt

Instructions: Preheat oven to 375℉. Line a cookie sheet with foil and place an oven proof cooling rack on top of the pan. This will allow good airflow for the beef fry to crisp up underneath. Cut each strip into 4 pieces. If possible, cut the beef fry in half and then cut each half in half again. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl. Wrap each thawed tater tot in beef fry and then roll it in the brown sugar mixture. Place on top of the cookie rack. Pour a cup of water under the rack and into the pan to prevent a smoky oven. Bake about 10 to 15 minutes at 375℉, then increase the oven to 400℉ and let them cook another 5 minutes. Check to see if they are crisping up. You may need to cook them 5 minutes longer. Check frequently to see they don't burn. Serve warm.
